V dňoch 19. – 21. mája 2026 privítala Fakulta sociálnych vied a zdravotníctva Univerzity Konštantína Filozofa v Nitre zástupcov Department of Nursing Science z University of Eastern Finland (UEF) v Kuopiu. Delegáciu tvorili Ari Haaranen, PhD., zástupca vedúceho katedry a vysokoškolský učiteľ, a Juha Pajari, PhD., RN, PHN, vysokoškolský učiteľ. Návšteva sa uskutočnila v rámci programu Erasmus+ a bola zameraná na rozvoj medzinárodnej spolupráce v oblasti vzdelávania a výskumu v ošetrovateľstve.

Program návštevy sa začal stretnutím s vedením fakulty. Súčasťou programu boli prezentácie oboch univerzít a odborné diskusie o možnostiach ďalšej spolupráce v oblasti vzdelávania a výskumu.

Významnou súčasťou návštevy boli stretnutia s pedagógmi Katedry ošetrovateľstva. Diskusie sa zamerali na výmenu skúseností v oblasti vzdelávania vrátane simulačného vzdelávania, ako aj na výskum v rôznych oblastiach ošetrovateľstva a pedagogiky v ošetrovateľstve, s dôrazom na magisterské a doktorandské štúdium.

Počas druhého dňa navštívili hostia Fakultnú nemocnicu Nitra, kde ich prijal námestník pre ošetrovateľskú starostlivosť PhDr. Peter Zito, MPH. Súčasťou programu boli aj návštevy vybraných pracovísk klinickej praxe vrátane urgentného príjmu a prezentácia možností simulačného vzdelávania na UKF v Nitre. Stretnutia poskytli priestor na výmenu skúseností v oblasti vzdelávania a prípravy budúcich sestier a vysokoškolských pedagógov v ošetrovateľstve.

Záver návštevy patril stretnutiu s doktorandmi a diskusii o možnostiach spolupráce v oblasti vedecko-výskumnej činnosti.

Súčasťou programu bolo aj predstavenie kultúrneho a historického dedičstva mesta Nitra vrátane prehliadky Nitrianskeho hradu a Diecéznej knižnice.

Návšteva potvrdila spoločný záujem oboch inštitúcií o rozvoj medzinárodnej spolupráce a vytvorila priestor pre budúce spoločné vzdelávacie, výskumné a mobilitné aktivity.

Delegation from the University of Eastern Finland Visited the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care, CPU in Nitra within the Erasmus+ Programme

From 19 to 21 May 2026, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra welcomed representatives of the Department of Nursing Science at the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Kuopio. The delegation consisted of Ari Haaranen, PhD, the Deputy Head of the Department and university teacher, and Juha Pajari, PhD, RN, PHN, the university teacher. The visit took place within the Erasmus+ programme and focused on strengthening international cooperation in nursing education and research.

The programme began with a meeting with the Faculty management. It included presentations of both universities and professional discussions on opportunities for further collaboration in education and research.

An important part of the visit was a series of meetings with academic staff from the Department of Nursing. The discussions focused on the exchange of experiences in nursing education, including simulation-based education, as well as research in various fields of nursing science and nursing pedagogy, with particular emphasis on master’s and doctoral education.

On the second day, the guests visited the Faculty Hospital Nitra, where they were welcomed by PhDr. Peter Zito, MPH, the Deputy Director for Nursing Care. The programme included visits to selected clinical training sites, including the Emergency Department, and a presentation of simulation-based education at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The meetings provided an opportunity to exchange experiences in the education and preparation of future nurses and nurse educators.

The final day of the visit included a meeting with doctoral students and discussions on possibilities for future collaboration in research activities.

The programme also focused on the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Nitra, including the guided tours of the Nitra Castle and the Diocesan Library.

The visit confirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening international collaboration and created opportunities for future joint educational, research, and mobility activities.
